While relaxing at Creekside Camp, take in the sights and sounds of the flowing stream. Creekside Camp is a 1,300-square-foot historic home located on the banks of a rocky creek. The house, which was originally a hunting camp, dates from the late 1800s. The living room is a timber frame barn that has been reconstructed. Creekside Camp has kept its historic charm while also providing all modern amenities.
The house has a completely renovated gourmet kitchen and bathrooms in the bohemian style. The exposed posts and beams, as well as the wood burning stove, give this home a distinct Vermont feel. The house is close to the road, but it is a no-outlet road with only three houses beyond. Dorset’s fine dining is only 2.5 miles away. Less than nine miles away are designer outlets as well as locally owned shops and restaurants. Hike through Merck Forest and farmland just minutes away, or ski Bromley Mountain (15 miles) and Stratton Mountain (20 miles) (24 miles).
The master bedroom includes a king-size bed, a sitting area, a large smart television, and a private bathroom with a bathtub. Multiple windows and skylights allow for natural light and views of the stream. Outside the window, blue herons have been spotted fishing. The semi-private loft houses the queen-size bed. The cabin is located on Stowe Hollow Road, a residential area of widely spaced lots, one mile from Stowe village, eight miles from Mt. Mansfield and skiing, and a few miles from the Pinnacle, one of Vermont’s most spectacular hikes. So, Goldilocks may not be your first choice if you want a secluded cabin in the woods, but if you want a charming and unique, conveniently located cabin that is easily accessible in all weather conditions, Goldilocks is for you.
Goldilocks cabin is tastefully decorated with Black Forest and French antiques, hand loomed rugs, and antler chandeliers—the ideal blend of rustic and luxurious. After a day of hiking or skiing, this cabin’s piping hot wood stove and chiming cuckoo clock make it a cozy retreat. The spacious master bedroom features an antique four poster bed with a luxurious mattress and a sitting alcove with a sleeper sofa. A ladder leads to the sleeping loft, which has a full-size bed and is popular with older children. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room. The cabin has two decks as well as a gas grill and a fire pit. Goldilocks accepts pets. Pets that are well-behaved and approved are always welcome.
4- Trout Cabin on Magic Mountain
Magic Mountain log cabin with your own trout pond for fly fishing! This property is a short walk from the main lodge and several hiking trails. The grocery store and restaurants are less than a 5-minute drive away in Londonderry. The kitchen has cooking supplies, a refrigerator, a stove top (no oven), a microwave, and an outside BBQ. Enjoy an outdoor shower with a view of the Green Mountains. The outdoor shower is completely covered, and robes are provided for convenience, but shower shoes are recommended. The main area has one queen bed and a loft with two beds that can sleep two adults. Unfortunately, this property is not suitable for children; however, dogs are welcome!

Snow Golf Club, which is only five miles away. Explore the West Dover area, taking in the local shopping, dining at a saloon, tavern, or pizzeria, and stocking up on supplies for your days on the mountain.
